Lawn Care
Mowing is the largest factor for the condition of your lawn and grass. When mowing, it is best to only remove one-third of the length of the grass at the time. We recommend not leaving more than 10 to 14 days between cuts. The need to mow varies depending on the general climate and individual weather periods, i.e. grass will grow quicker when its warmer and sunnier therefore your lawn will need to be mowed more regularly.
Hitchin Gardeners can mow as a one-off or on a regular basis, using mowers, and smaller hand tools for those more awkward spots. We will also properly maintain the open and closed edges of your lawn to provide the finishing touch to your newly beautiful lawn.
We also employ the latest techniques and best practice for those other important required tasks that may need to be carried out on a less regular basis. The most common we get requests for are weed and thatch removal, moss treatment, drainage improvements, aeration, new seeding, feeding/fertilisation and watering.
